All go for September

I have mentioned previously about plans to hold a Sight hounds show in aid of Lurcher Link. The venue is now booked for September 19th (Sunday). It is to be held at Woodnook arena in Meltham, Huddersfield. The venue is booked for the whole day and includes the use of 2 large indoor arenas and a staffed cafe. 

The rough plan is to hold have-a-go agility and off-lead play in the smaller arena.The larger arena would be used for a variety of classes, I was thinking maybe working dog classes, including terrier classes in the morning. Then some fun stuff, a variety of classes including a kids section, maybe some ferret racing etc. The larger arena is big enough to accommodate a show area with plenty of room for stalls. There is also scope for a car boot sale, as there is a large car park. All proceeds taken from class entries and stall pitches would go to LL.......

.....now for the big ask! I have a small band of volunteers, but need more. If you would like to be involved in any way, it would be most appreciated. All contributions are welcome, be it suggestions for classes, raffle prizes, contacts for people who would be willing to judge, promoting the event and help on the day.

Loving the new website. Maybe we can swap links? if you can throw together a square picture ad i'll add it to my website and link it to your site. I've quite a few members now. I'd also like to offer my services as one of your photographers at the show if you want? I did this recently for ruff Luck Rescue who held a charity dog show and took photos of the winners with their rosettes. About 40 people wanted photos taken. I think we charged £3.00 per print so Ruff Luck would have made about £120 for their charity. The photos are up on my website if you'd like to see them, just log in as a member x   Just a thought.

 

I'm shooting a calendar for a breast cancer campaign in June so the photography is coming along really nicely. Let me know if i can do anything else to help x
